Hazard Mitigation Plan

The Guadalupe Basin Hazard Mitigation Action Plan (MAP) received initial approval from the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) on January 19, 2005 and final approval on May 31, 2005. By receiving this approval, GBRA and the 26 jurisdictions that participated in the development of the MAP remain eligible for Hazard Mitigation Grant Program (HMGP) and Pre-Disaster Mitigation (PDM) Grant Program funds.
