The Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority (GBRA) is requesting sealed bids or sealed proposals from qualified, responsible service providers for the items listed below. GBRA's procurement and professional service engagement policies provide for open, fair, and competitive procurement practices with equal opportunity for all vendors. All qualified firms including Small, Minority, and Women Owned Businesses are encouraged to submit proposals.

GBRA has partnered with BidnetDirect and CivCast to provide electronic bid services. Both platforms provide no cost registration and vendors can select to be notified of future bid opportunities. In addition, both platforms handle solicitations for other member governmental agencies, districts, and authorities throughout Texas.

The GBRA is a political subdivision of the State of Texas to develop, store and protect the water resources of the Guadalupe River Basin for the benefit of its residents. Occasionally as a way to keep the public informed, GBRA may post official notices -- sometimes as a requirement of the state or as part of GBRA's activities in management of the basin's resources. The Texas Water Development Board (TWDB) issued a Categorical Exclusion from a full environmental review on May 6, 2021, for the Categorical Exclusion, Guadalupe Blanco River Authority, Guadalupe and Gonzales County, Texas, Guadalupe Valley Hydroelectric System (GVHS), Lake Dunlap Spillgate Replacement, Dam Repair, and Erosion Control, Clean Water State Revolving Fund, TWDB Project No. 73897.
