PARK RULES AND REGULATIONS
CAMPING AND PICNICKING
ALL VEHICLES ENTERING THE PARK MUST PURCHASE A PERMIT. Speed limits on park roads are 10 mph. All motor vehicles must operate on designated roads. Off-road vehicles and golf carts are not allowed within the park. No vehicles may drive down the river banks.
There is a maximum limit of (8) people per campsite and two (2) camping units per campsite, except for RV’s, Trailers, and Pop-Ups. There is a two (2) night minimum on Holiday reservations. No vehicles are allowed on or around the H-5 Dam Levee.
Persons under 18 years of age desiring to camp overnight must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian or be supervised by a responsible adult.
Quiet hours are between 10:00 p.m. and 7:00 a.m. and unnecessary noise or activities are prohibited to allow campers a good night’s rest. No music is allowed after 10:00 p.m. Please use common courtesy.
GROUND FIRES ARE NOT ALLOWED! Fires are allowed only in furnished grills and pits.
Picnicking, visiting, and driving through are available only between 8:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
NO PETS ARE ALLOWED unless they are on a leash or confined in a vehicle.
NO GLASS CONTAINERS are allowed in the park.
To preserve and protect park vegetation and animals and their habitat, the recreational use of firearms, archery equipment, paint ball guns, air guns, or fireworks are prohibited.
